Compassionate, Down-to-Earth online therapy for Young Adults and Adults seeking to discover who they are, how to deal with being “the adult”, and how to keep going.

Be authentic, become resilient, and let the rest fall into place.

You know yourself better than anyone else — You don’t have to keep feeling this way

Hi! My name is Dana.

I’ve worked in the mental health field for 10 years. I’ve heard a lot. I’ve seen a lot. You’re not too much.

My mission is to help promote mental wellness and help you achieve your sense of balance and stability and to feel authentic in how that is managed.

Are you worried that therapy might feel “wishy-washy” or too much like “do I have to meditate on a lily pad in the middle of the water?” vibe.

That’s not how I roll.

I hate to break it to you, but you were not made to fit in the box.

Do even know who you really are or do you just know who you are in relation to other people or the type of work you do? Does describing your life like that really encapsulate who you are? — Probably not! You’re so much more than that. If only others could see the depth of who you really are, they would know that you are just trying to survive through the day. Maybe even trying to live a little.

How many times have you thought about going to therapy, found a therapist, and felt like, “ugh, they’re going to be all weird, silent, stuck-up…I don’t think they’ll ‘get’ me?”

You can be yourself here. Be authentic. And I really hope you choose to be yourself. Let that weight drop off your chest, relax your shoulders, and take a deep breath.

Deciding to go to therapy is already hard enough, you’ve got guts for just showing up. Don’t use any excess energy putting on a mask.

“Bounce back?! I’m not sure I even had it all together in the first place!”

If you’re like me, you probably feel like you’re constantly trying to dig out. Every day seems to have a new challenge that I’m not sure I would even “welcome with open arms.” The last 25 years have been a series of “unprecedented events”…how can you NOT be stressed? How do you just feel “okay” in all of that?!

Learning to live everyday in the ebb and flow of the obstacle of life is hard to balance without support. Friends, family, and all of “the adults” in your life probably aren’t the neutral sounding board you were hoping for.

You need a space just for you — let therapy be that space. You can feel safe here.

Your story is not done being written — you are already more resilient than you know — let me help you realize that!

You’re struggling to bounce back to where you were or who you want to be. It’s overwhelming. Everything important to you has to take the backburner. Sometimes, you’re stuck, other times, spiraling out of control.

You mask who you are to make other people happy. You just want to be understood but you feel invalidated, like who you are isn’t good enough. Your relationships are strained but you struggle to communicate exactly how your feel.

You want to give up and too often say, “why bother”. You feel like you might as well give up on your goals because they don’t seem to work out anyway.

It can be incredibly lonely to keep holding these heavy feelings by yourself. I know you have a busy life. You probably also feel busy being overwhelmed and busy trying to hold yourself together.

In-person therapy can be hard to access and can feel too intimidating. I offer virtual mental health counseling to help bridge that gap. You can get help while still doing the important things in your life instead of sacrificing what is important to get the help you need.

Online Therapy in New Jersey and Pennsylvania

Since 2020, I have been providing online counseling and psychotherapy. If you’re still on the fence about meeting with a therapist online, here are some benefits with getting online help:

  • You get support from the comfort of your home - You’re in a familiar space. You can even hang out with your pets!

  • No need to wear “going out” clothes. - Let’s face it, we all have them. But wouldn’t it feel better to get help and be more comfortable in your skin while doing it?

  • Easy to squeeze into your day. - There’s no traveling or needing to rush to find the right office location or parking spot. Waiting rooms? They can make some of us more anxious.

  • Get in and get out. - Similar to above, once you’re done with your appointment, you can log off and get back to the many important things you have in your life.
